Dr. Abul K. Rashid, PhD
Dr. Rashid is an educator, author, Khateeb and member of interfaith groups in DFW area. He is employed as a Head of Asset Management at Constant Company, LLC & Part-time Faculty at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). He lives in Richardson, TX with his wife, Irin Sultana, M.Ed., and four children.
Dr. Rashid is a founder of Al-Mumin Mosque in Fort Worth, Texas. Previously, he was an executive member of Islamic Association of Tarrant County (IATC) Dawah committee. Also, Dr. Rashid served as a Muslim Chaplain (Volunteer) at Federal Medical Center (Prison) in Fort Worth, Texas for two years.
Dr. Rashid has extensive experience leading multi-faith activities as part of IAFW, IATC & Al-Mu’min Mosque in Fort Worth, TX. He served as a board of director of Islamic Association of Fort Worth and Taught at Texas School of Islamic Studies in Fort Worth and Tarrant County College.
Currently, serving as an Ambassador of RISD (Richardson Independent School District) School Year 23-24
